Deputy Chief of Russian Land Forces Visits Georgia

Valery Yevnevich, Deputy Commander of the Russian Land Forces, who is paying a visit to Georgia, will meet Georgian Defense Minister Giorgi Baramidze on October 7.

The situation in South Ossetian conflict zone and activities of the joint ? Russian-Georgian-Ossetian ? peacekeeping troops stationed in the region will be discussed.

Valery Yevnevich is also expected to meet Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Goga Khaindrava.
