Explosion Hits Power Line Again
Two towers of high-voltage power line were blown up on October 10 in western Georgia, following similar explosions at the Kartli-2 power line near the central Georgian town of Gori on October 9.
Officials described both incidents as sabotage.
Georgina Energy Minister Nika Gilauri told reporters that the power supply will be limited in eastern Georgia, including the capital Tbilisi over the next two weeks, until the power lines are restored.
