Georgian President, EU’s Tusk Talk by Phone After Latter Postpones Visit
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili spoke by telephone with President of the European Council Donald Tusk, who has postponed his visit to Georgia and Armenia, which was scheduled for this week.
Georgian President’s office said that Tusk “expressed regret over postponing his planned visit to Georgia due to the Greek crisis.”
“Donald Tusk expressed readiness to visit Georgia in the near future,” the Georgian president’s office said.
Tusk was expected to visit Georgia on July 14-15 before traveling to Armenia on July 16.
