(Tbilisi. November 21. Civil Georgia) – Member of reformers’ wing, MP Vano Merabishvili accused ex-Education Minister and the candidate to the post Aleko Kartozia of corruption.
The accusations caused tension in the Parliament. The conservative part of MPs supported Aleko Kartozia and condemned Vano Merabishvili and the rest of the members of the reformers’ team along with Mikhail Saakashvili.
Discussion of Kartozia’s and the rest of the ministerial candidatures are postponed for November 22.
