Avtandil Jorbenadze – State Minister’s Candidature

(Tbilisi. December 17. Civil Georgia) – President Shevardnadze nominated Avtandil Jorbenadze on the post of the State Minister. He is the Minister of Health and Social Welfare at present.

“He does not belong to any of the political groups or factions and he is a good manager,” Eduard Shevardnadze stated in the interview with the state radio company today.

Jorbenadze was re-elected on the post of the Health and Social Welfare by the absolute majority of the Parliament on December 4.
