Member of Advisors’ Board on Security Issues of Georgia in Tbilisi

(Tbilisi, April 2, Civil Georgia) – General-Mayor Frantz Verner, member of International Board of Advisors on Security Issues of Georgia, visits Tbilisi on April 2-6, Georgian Defense Ministry reports.

Verner will meet Defense and Foreign Affairs Ministers, the Parliamentary Chairperson and head of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security as well as other state officials.

Member of the Advisors’ Board will visit the 11th brigade, which will be trained by the US military instructors in anti-terrorist activities.

The Advisors’ Board was established with the support of the US, Britain and German governments in 1998. It supports Georgian Defense Ministry in implementing reforms.
