Leader of Breakaway Region Fears Georgia’s Increasing Military Capability
(Tbilisi, May 31, Civil Georgia) – President of the unrecognized South Ossetian Republic Eduard Kokoiti stated today at the news briefing in Moscow that in case Georgia’s military potential increases Tbilisi would use the force to solve Ossetian and Abkhazian conflicts.
Kokoiti said that during in the meeting Abkhazian de facto Prime Minister in Moscow they discussed prevention of Georgia’s possible aggression.
Breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia regularly express concerns regarding the US-Georgian military cooperation.
Leaders of the unrecognized republic claim that US trained Georgian troops will be used in the military operations against them.
