GNERC Sets New Tariffs on Natural Gas
The Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) upheld the applications of three gas supplier companies to increase tariffs on natural gas.
Upon the decision of GNERC, consumer tariff for Tbilisi, which is supplied with natural gas by the KazTransGas Tbilisi company, increased from 45.620 Tetri to 46.153 Tetri per cubic meter.
Gas tariffs also increased for regional consumers, who are supplied by Socar Georgia Gas and Sakorggas.
Gas tariffs (including VAT) for Socar Georgia Gas customers increased to 56.940 Tetri and for Sakorggas customers – to 57.011 Tetri.
GNERC also reported that new tariffs would be introduced on July 20, 2017 and stay in force through December 31, 2018.
