Zurab Pataradze, who previously served as the Head of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, has been appointed as Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
President Giorgi Margvelashvili issued a relevant decree on Pataradze’s appointment on August 27. The latter will take office from August 29.
Zurab Pataradze, who held the post since 2016, announced his resignation on July 4, 2018, stressing that he would remain a member of the Georgian Dream party.
