FM Zalkaliani: Developments in the Azov Sea “Alarming”
Developments in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait are alarming, Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani said in a twitter post on November 26.
Zalkaliani said attack on Ukrainian army vessels and their seizure “is a blatant violation of international maritime law and undermines security of the whole region.”
“Georgia fully supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he concluded.

According to the Ukrainian MFA, Ukrainian navy ships Berdyansk and Nikopol, together with a tug boat Yana Kapu, were attacked and captured by Russian navy ships, wounding and capturing their crew members. Ukrainian vessels were en route to Mariupol from Odessa.
