According to the Ukrainian President’s press office, Zurabishvili said the two countries need to “unite their efforts on their path to EU and NATO integration.” She also invited Zelensky to Georgia.
On his part, Zelensky said Ukraine will continue “a consistent foreign policy course aimed at restoring sovereignty and territorial integrity, and further developing European and Euro-Atlantic integration.”
He also stressed, one of Ukraine’s challenges is to overcome corruption, where the experience of Georgia could serve as an “example” for Ukraine.
