New Chief of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Police Appointed

Avtandil Galdava has been appointed as the Head of Interior Ministry’s Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regional police department, replacing Nikoloz Diasamidze, who held the post from March 2018.

According to the Interior Ministry, Galdava served as the director of Samtskhe-Javakheti regional police department from August 2017.

As for Nikoloz Diasamidze, he was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Interior Ministry.
