On January 6, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tbilisi held vigil for Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Iraq on the orders of president Donald Trump on Friday. Soleimani, 62, led the Quds force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
A crowd of approximately 70 people, almost all of them Iranians, attended vigil outside the Embassy of Iran in Tbilisi’s Vake neighborhood.
