Geostat: Georgia’s GDP Declined by 11.5% in January
Georgia’s real GDP contracted by 11.5% year-on-year in January, according to the rapid estimates released by the National Statistics Office (Geostat) on February 26.
Despite the overall decline, Geostat said growth was registered in information and communication, financial and insurance activities.
Georgia’s GDP shrank by 6.1% year-on-year in 2020.
