Russia Mounts Pressure on Georgia

Official representative of the Federal Office of State Security of Russia Aleksandre Zdanovich claims that his department has been informed that “there were “boeviks” of bin Laden in Chechnya and now they may be in the Pankisi Valley, Georgia”.

MP of Russian Duma Council Boris Nemtsov stated several days ago that Russia could pass military actions against Chechen guerillas in Pankisi separately from Georgia.

Official Tbilisi strongly denies the idea of Chechen guerillas and terrorists being on the territory of Georgia.
