Abkhazian Authorities Warn Tbilisi About Possible Preventive Strikes
Abkhazia may launch preventive strikes against the terrorists out of the Abkhazian territory, Russian news service Interfax reports, quoting Foreign Affairs Minister of the breakaway Republic Sergei Shamba.
“Strikes will be against the terrorists and must not be considered as the aggression against Georgia”, Shamba announced.
Foreign Affairs Ministry of Georgia regards the announcement as the attempt to impede the peace talks and the preparation of a new provocation against Georgia.
Tbilisi officials deny information about being of Chechen guerrillas on the territory controlled by the Georgian government.
