Street Protests Asking for Electricity Worry MPs
(Tbilisi. November 21. Civil Georgia) – The Parliament protests against insufficient supplying of electricity to the population. Citizens have been blocking streets and central avenues of Tbilisi asking for increased supplies of electricity for last two days. Parliamentarians fear that the street protests may grow into serious destabilization in Georgia.
At the plenary session today part of MPs demanded to invite authorities responsible for the situation in the power sector.
Street protests paralyzed the capital for couple weeks in November, last year.
