Georgian Authorities Deny Reports on Detention of Afghans
(Tbilisi, February 26, Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry and Border Guard Service deny report concerning detention of five Afghan citizens on Georgian-Azerbaijani border.
Azerbaijani media sources reported on February 25 that Georgian border guards detained five Afghans, who illegally crossed the Georgian-Azerbaijani border.
Georgian State Security Minister admitted earlier in February that there are several cases of illegal crossing Georgian border by the Afghan citizens.
