Georgian-Greek Political Consultations

Foreign Ministry’s of Georgia and Greece hold political consultations in Athens on April 8-10.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Giga Burduli leads Georgian delegation.

Issues of bilateral economic relations and resolutions of conflicts in South Caucasus region will be discussed during the consultations.

Shevardnadze Concerned With Mead East Tensions

Georgian President Shevardnadze in his radiobroadcast on April 8 expressed “deep concern” regarding the situation in the Mead East.

Eduard Shevardnadze expressed hope that the peace will win in the Mead East.

“All the parties involved in Abkhazian and South Ossetian conflicts’ resolution should learn the Mead East lesson carefully,” Georgina President stated.
