Deliberate Damage of Pipe Caused Minor Spill of Oil

(Tbilisi, January 20, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Authorities say Baku-Supsa oil pipeline was deliberately damaged in central Georgia on January 18.

Officials of the Georgian International Oil Cooperation say the damaged caused minor spill of oil.

The Georgian Ministry of Environment claims that there is no threat for the environment, as the minor spill of oil is reported.
