Georgian, Azeri, Ukrainian MPs Agree to Coordinate Joining NATO
(Tbilisi. March 22, 2003. Civil Georgia) – The Georgian, Azerbaijani and Ukrainian Parliamentary delegations to NATO have signed an agreement on coordination of activities aiming at joining the NATO.
MP Giorgi Baramidze, member of the Georgian Parliamentary delegation to NATO said at the briefing on March 21 that Armenia and Moldova might joint the process as well.
Georgian President made an official bid for NATO membership last November at the Prague summit of the alliance.
