Russia Removes Ammunition From Eastern Georgia

(Tbilisi, June 22, 2003, Civil Georgia) – The Russian Defense Ministry removes ammunition and military equipment from the 130th Russian military depot in Sagarejo, eastern Georgia.

According to the Headquarters of Group of Russian Troops in Trans Caucasus ammunition and military equipment is transferred to the Russian military base deployed in Gyumri, Armenia.

The removal of the Russian military equipment is carried out under the agreement reached by the Georgian and Russian sides late last year.
