Berezovsky Visited Tbilisi
Tycoon Boris Berezovsky, who is wanted by Russia for fraud allegations, paid a short visit in Tbilisi at midnight.
Spokesman for the Georgian Border Guard Department Shalva Londaridze told Civil Georgia that Berezovsky arrived in Tbilisi airport at 12:15 am and left the Georgian capital at 5 am on December 3.
According to the unofficial reports Berezovsky met Tbilisi-based influential tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili, who is also wanted by Russia for fraud allegations.
Shalva Londaridze also confirmed that Berezovsky arrived in Tbilisi from Britain with the plane owned by Patarkatsishvili.
Londaridze said that Berezovsky is not wanted by Georgia, thus he had no problems with Georgian entry visa.
Other details of Berezovsky?s 5-hour long visit to the Georgian capital remain unknown.
Berezovsky was granted asylum in Britain this year after Moscow requested his extradition on fraud charges.
