NATO Envoy Visits Georgia

Robert Simmons, the NATO Secretary General’s special representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, is paying a working visit to Georgia on September 26-27, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.


Simmons is expected to hold talks with senior officials involved in the country?s Euro-Atlantic integration processes, as well as the ambassadors of NATO member states accredited to Georgia.


Simmons has already introduced to Georgian officials NATO?s new liaison officer for the Caucasus, Zbigniew Rybacki.
