Church Leader Meets Foreign Diplomats
Patriarch of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Ilia II, said at a meet with foreign diplomats accredited in Georgia that he hoped the current “tense relations” between the opposition and authorities would not last for a long.
“There are clever people both in the opposition and the authorities and I think that they will definitely find a common language. They should probably listen to each other. I think that such attitude should not last for a long time,” Ilia II said.
