Integration with the EU – Main Objective of Georgia’s Foreign Policy
(Tbilisi, March 11, Civil Georgia) – “Integration into the European Union and the constructive cooperation with the United States and Russia are the main objectives of Georgia’s foreign policy,” Georgian President Shevardnadze stated in his radio broadcast on March 11.
Eduard Shevardnadze commented on his visits to the Brussels scheduled for March 18-21. Meetings with the EU and NATO high officials are planned during the visit.
Georgian President said that fundamental issues of relationship between Georgia and the EU will be discussed during the visit.
